We divide our children into classrooms
by age which allows us to focus on age appropriate
development and activities. However, we also meet
in mixed age groups to play on the playground or attend
Special Events like entertainer
Will Branch or our
science enrichment program,
Mad Science.

Teddy Bear Room
(Infants 6 Weeks to 9 Months)
Flexible care and lots of love and attention is
what's needed most at this tender young age. Our
teachers have been taking care of infants for
decades and with a teacher/child ratio of 1:3, there's plenty of
arms for hugs and cuddles. |

Dreamland Room
(Ages 9 Months to 15 Months)
As your child becomes more mobile, his/her moods
and needs guide our day. Naps, free play and
exploration are key elements of Dreamland's
daily schedule. Our teacher/child ratio is
1:4.

Angel Room
(1 Year Olds)
We're off and walking now! As your little
angel's curiosity continues to grow, we're
expanding his/her horizons with interactive
play, learning new words and important social skills.
Our teacher/child ratio is 1:4.

Busy Bee Room
(2 Year Olds)
Our 2 year olds are anything but "terrible"!We love their unbridled energy and enthusiasm
and testing limits is expected and welcomed. Our
teacher/child ratio is 1:6 providing plenty of
supervision for our "buzzing busy bees". |

Pooh Bear Room
(3 Year Olds)
Like Pooh, your child is finding his way.
Potty training, numbers, the alphabet, writing
his/her name -- the world really is as big as the
Hundred Acre Woods. Our teacher/Pooh Bear
ratio is 1:8. |

Butterfly Room
(4 Year Olds / ½ day K5)
Out of our chrysalises, we're spreading our
wings, getting ready for school. We offer
learning centers, science, art projects and,
of course, lots of peer interaction. There's
plenty of outdoor activity as well. Our teacher/child ratio is
1:10. |

Eagle Room
(K5 - 12 Years Old)
Your Eagle gets time to recover and play after
the school day is over. We pick-up and
drop-off at local schools with our van, fully
equipped with car/booster seats. We also
provide supervised time for homework. Our teacher/child ratio is
1:12. |

The vision of Carpenter's Shop is shepherded by
one of the North Shore's most experienced
childcare leaders. We are so blessed to have her
25 plus years of expertise. She's
hands-on, loving and fair. She also never
